when are people going to realize that words can hurt just as bad as punches? cuts, bruises, scratches heal, but words stay with you forever. our voice is the most powerful tool we have, the ability to be heard. why does today’s generation take advantage of that and use it to hurt rather than help. choose your words wisely. you don’t know the impact that it could have on someone.
I’m so excited for my future. i want to make a difference in someone’s life. i want everyone to know that they are not alone, the pain they feel is temporary, and it does get better. If i can do that for at least one person, I will be successful.
Every once in a while, people step up. They rise above themselves. Sometimes they surprise you. And sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes. It can push pretty hard. But if you look close enough, you find hope in the words of children, in the bars of a song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you’re lucky, I mean if you’re the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back
